What is modeling for photoreal images?
When an object is modeled in 3D, it can look quite flat. Modeling for photoreal images is the process of adding textures to the object and lighting to the scene to make the 3D model look real, as if the image had been taken with a camera. This type of modeling is used in marketing and content creation.
Some production models have good geometry for photoreal modeling, but the software used to create the models does not produce good quality rendering. In this case, the model will need to be converted before textures can be added.
